Incidents can happen anywhere at any time. They may occur as a result of fires, spills, explosions, natural disasters or other factors. Incidents have occurred during manufacturing, chemical material use and transportation. Incidents can result in property damage, health and safety concerns, and in some instances, community concerns.

The successful management and investigation of incidents depend on the rapid assessment of the risk to people and property, followed by immediate and ongoing response. ARCADIS has the expertise to work with the first responder to assess, advice and react to the active incident, to design and implement immediate post-incident investigations and to conduct scientific and engineering evalutations to understand the root causes of various incidents and evaluate the lasting effects of them.
